A beautiful end to a day! A swim and a rinsing out if clothes always feels so good before bed in the shelters! I spent far more time I get back on trail after a couple of zeros on a gorgeous day! I climb Stratton Mtn & fire tower for beautiful views before settling in at Morning 2013 on tent platforms.
We ripped a backpacking trip around Stratton Pond in Vermont on the Appalachian Trail/Long Trail. Chaos ensued. Not really. Great looped hike from Manchester Ctr, VT. It did require some hiking along roads to get back to our car but well worth it.
